Strathurie was established in in 2018 but it’s origins go back to 2006. Firstly let me introduce myself. I’m Craig, co-founder of Strathurie, along with my wife, Ann. Born and raised in Scotland but during my early working life, my background in engineering and manufacturing would take me further afield.
In 2006 we started the design and manufacture of our own ladies fashion accessories; primarily handbags, purses, scarves and jewellery, with the aim bringing quality items at an affordable price.
In 2015 we toyed with the idea of using our experience and combining it with our love of Scotland to try and come up with branding that we could not only sell in Scotland, but also promote to the rest of the world. In 2018, Strathurie was born.

Due to the increase in size of our website, we’ve now moved to hosting by Siteground and honestly can’t speak highly enough of them.
We had the option of using their own wordpress plugin to complete the transfer ourselves but instead opted to pay a small fee and have them to it for us. The staff were friendly and very precise regarding the information they required and it took less that 24 hours.
Seriously, give them a try.

Harrogate Home and Gift Fair is definitely running from 18th to 21st July and we will be exhibiting at stand B35. Come along and see Ann and myself.
This event has been selected as a Government Test Event so there are no limits on crowd number and there will be no required social distancing. Mask are optional. Visitors are required to provide proof of two vaccinations or a negative test.

Open again after the Harrogate Home and Gift Fair. It was a very different event this year with exhibition set-up following the usual Covid guideline but the exhibition itself was a Government “test event” so during the show itself, no masks or social distancing was required.
Good to see customers again, old and new, as well as fellow exibitors. A shout out to Lisa at Arran Bay Jewellery who designs and makes all the jewellery herself.
We had a few days vacation in Carnoustie on our return and what a beautiful place with friendly locals and a clean environment, it was like taking a step back in time. We stayed at the Anchorage, hosted by bob and Rhona, and the photographs don’t do it justice. It’s literaly a 30 second walk to the seafront and spectacular views of the bay. A 10 minute walk along the front and you’re at the world famous Carnoustie Golf Course, along the way there’s playparks for the kids and even a skatepark.
